Baby I’m back… Again

Okay, I know I’ve been a bad boy.  I haven’t been as frequent as I wanted to be on my blog.  However, I have had quite the adventure the past month or so.

First off, my masters program sucks a big green banana.  I mean Chico State, you have a terrible education department.  I don’t know when they will pull their heads out of their rose-scented asses (because they do believe their assess smell like roses)  and realize that all this “equity” and “democracy” is all a bunch of hypothetical bullshit.  Schools don’t need leaders that want everyone to be fair–fuck that.  They need some hard nosed leaders that aren’t going to allow people to slack off and bring the school back into financial responsibility.  I graduate in May and I’m supposed to be trained to lead a school.  Fuck that.  I’m not where NEAR prepared to walk into a school and lead it because of this program.  I am ready to lead because of my natural intuition and my experiences working in school.  I can’t believe I’ve been through two and a half years of MASTERS level work and no one has talked ONCE about Title I funding or how to deal with HR.  Of course they have skirted around it, but it was because someone brought it up in class!  I feel like the old guy in the back corner of the meeting smoking a cigarette so jaded that I just can’t wait for the asshole leading the meeting to stop talking so I can get a drink.  Now, this isn’t me… but they are making me admire that jerk.

The house is coming along very nicely.  The only thing that I have left is this pesky crown molding.  I picked it up at the end of January and I thought it would be done by the Super Bowl.  Nope.  Another cruel construction job joke on the robman.  We are ending the month of February and it’s still not done.  I’m hoping by Easter, I will have baseboards and crown molding.  But hey, I’m an optimist.

Heather is doing fantastic in our little world we’re creating.  The longer we start dating, the more doors are opened and bridges crossed that I haven’t done in my life.   She was so clutch this week helping me with a school fundraiser.  She basically handled it all and then danced like a fool at the event… all for me.  If that doesn’t make you feel special, I don’t know what exactly will.  But she made a great observation that we haven’t yet to spend a full day together.  So we tried it today it was fun.  We just kind of bopped around my house and we each had our own things to do.  I like how we are progressing and I just can’t jump the gun.

In these things was buying me yet another new computer.   My computer, that is less than a year old took a big fat dump.  Now, normally I would wait for it to be repaired.  But I’m figuring that it will be over a week and I can’t do my job without my computer.  So an upgrade  I got.

We are about three weeks out from our Disneyworld adventure.  I can’t wait to relax, read, and escape the clusterfuck I call Chico State. Seeing a theme tonight?  It will be a great adventure for us and a good indication of our relationship.

I am currently reading a fantastic new book recommended from my buddy Max.  I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell is by far the most guy book I’ve ever read.  This guy is an asshole… not a minor one either… a MAJOR asshole.  He’s so funny the shit he has pulled and got away with.  So lady readers, if you can handle what goes on in a true jerk’s head, this book is for you.  For nice guys like me, it’s funny to read because deep down sometimes you wish you could be like him.

So short and sweet… that’s where we are… robman is out for the night.
