Worst movie ever… don’t watch it. However, I was Speed today. I woke up at 8 and just started burning through anything and everything that I had going for work and school. It was amazing that I had lazer focus. I was able to knock through anything and still have time to facebook.
I think that I have this master’s project under control. I’m mostly through chapter two and I have two weeks to go before the deadling. My plan of an article a day is really actually paying off. It’s a relief because I’ve noticed in the past few weeks that my lack of attention to detail has wound up screwing me over. Just little things like a typo on a flyer I just made 500 copies of or not paying my credit card on time because I forgot. I know this is a flaw in my work ethic, but when you are working on your own, it’s hard to have anyone catch you. So now I get more annoyed than I did before when people were asking 1000 questions.
Yesterday, my phone attempted suicide… thankfully it lived. I rode my bike downtown to meet Blake for breakfast and it fell out of my pocket. Some kid found it and called Blake because he was the last to call. I gave the kid a reward and called my phone insurance. $75 later, I’ll have a semi new phone that doesn’t look like road kill.
I’m getting excited to move to the new house. I’m just gearing up for the first phase of painting and installing. Then, sometime next week, I’ll do the big move and officially be in. It’s going to be crazy to be a home owner… there’s just so much that goes with it. It’s going to be nuts. I am going to miss calling the landlord when something breaks.
SO I’m just down to the flooring and cabinets and I think I’m good to go. I feel like Tom Hanks in the Money Pit… two weeks my ass. I’ll be lucky if I’ll be drinking off my new counters on New Years…
